Yes! We are a nationwide company. We have offices in London, Warrington and Bristol but we create bespoke Wall Art for nurseries, schools, colleges and universities all over England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland and overseas as well.
-
We can design and install artwork on almost any surface inside and outside your school. This includes internal and external walls, windows, doors, ceilings, floors, sound panels, table tops, steps and more. We’ll determine the best materials to suit the surface that we are covering. All of the materials that we use are high-quality, durable, premium, industrial materials fit for purpose in schools, nurseries, universities and colleges.
-
In usual circumstances, we will offer you a free site visit to discuss your goals and the areas you have in mind. We’ll walk around your school to help you identify suitable areas if you are not sure. We’ll assess the surfaces to determine the best material and take measurements and photos in order to give you a no-obligation quote.
However, during the Coronavirus lockdown, we can offer a fully remote consultation if you would prefer. You can give us a call or complete the contact form and we’ll arrange a phone call or video chat whenever suits you best. We’ll ask about your objectives and discuss the space you have in mind for your bespoke Wall Art. You’ll need to provide photos and, if you have them, some dimensions. From there, we’ll create a quote based on your requirements, specifications and budget.

At a site visit we will discuss what you are hoping to achieve, look at areas you have in mind or walk around your school with you to identify suitable areas if you are not sure. We will assess the surfaces to determine the best material and take measurements and photos in order to give you a no-obligation quote.

The health and safety of our employees, customers, and partners is paramount to us. Like every workplace we have, and continue to, invest a lot of time to ensure we are helping to keep our working practices as safe as possible for all concerned.
We are continuing to visit schools for initial site visit consultations and our installers are able to carry out site surveys and installations. Here is what we are doing to ensure our site visits are Covid safe:
- Site visits are offered between 7am and 6pm.
- We will follow school policies and guidelines whilst on site. We request that you make us aware of these before we visit and/or on arrival at the school office.
- We will maintain the appropriate distance to others in line with government guidance and the school’s policies.
- We will follow the school’s signage/systems/directions when moving around the school site.
- We will wear face coverings as required and in line with school, national and local guidelines.
- We will follow good hygiene procedures in terms of hand washing and respiratory hygiene.
- We will maintain good levels of general cleanliness (e.g. frequent sanitising of equipment used, wiping surfaces touched as required).
-
An initial site visit is free of charge and enables us to get information, photos and measurements in order to give you a specific cost for your quote. This is a free service so that we can generate a no-obligation quote. We hope you will then place an order of course but there is no commitment for you to make a purchase.
-
If we are unable to visit your school, we can offer a remote consultation via telephone or video chat. In this session, we’ll ask about your objectives and discuss the space you have in mind for your bespoke Wall Art. You’ll need to provide photos and, if you have them, some dimensions. From there, we’ll create a quote based on your requirements, specifications and budget.
-
Yes. We can quote off-plan to help you incorporate the costs into your building work estimate. We will work with you to decide the right time to do a site survey before installation.
-
You will need to get a quote first. This can be done by contacting us to book a free site visit or by submitting photos in order to get a no-obligation quote.
Once you have decided on your final specification, including dimensions, you can speak with your Promote Your School representative and they will guide you through the process of placing an order.
-
Once you have submitted your order, your project will be booked into our design studio and we will arrange a site survey by an installer for you. Your project manager from Promote Your School who will take you through all the stages of the process so you know exactly what to expect. You can read more about the process here or feel free to contact us to find out more.
-
Once your order has been placed, your project manager will finalise the brief with you if they haven’t already. For the brief we will find out from you your specific content and style requirements so we can ensure the designs we create fit your needs. Once the brief for all areas is finalised, your project will then be booked into the schedule with a designer.
-
We provide a bespoke design service. Each area is designed your specific brief, the available space and the dimensions of the area.
We do not start working on designs before an order is placed because each area needs the appropriate time invested in it to achieve what you are looking for. Bespoke design needs to go through a process of discussion and revisions to get to the final point. We create options at first draft and provide the promise of unlimited amends according to your original brief, so you can have the confidence that the final installation will be in line with your expectations.
We have extensive case studies of schools we have worked with, which we’re very happy to share. These show the quality of the work we do, the type of designs we can create for you and the extent of our experience working with schools to create bespoke designs for schools.
-
Wall Art projects with Promote Your School typically take 4-6 weeks from your order being placed to installation, depending on the size and scale of your project. If you are on a tighter deadline we can work to your schedule, just let us know.
-
Your Promote Your School project manager will help you finalise the brief. Rest assured, it doesn’t need to be lengthy or elaborate! There are three main things that we’ll need from your brief:
- Challenge: What is the challenge you wish to overcome through Wall Art? Why do you want it in each area that you have chosen? What are you trying to achieve or communicate? Our designers are creative problem solvers. They want to know what you are trying to achieve and will use their experience of transforming learning environments to come up with the solution.
- Style: We will need some idea of what style you like. Everyone has different tastes and requirements and ultimately you know your school and your students the best. Try to think about the examples you’ve seen that inspired you to contact us. What case studies did you see/do you like? This will give us a really good idea of the sort of style you favour.
- Content: We will need to know the specific worded content you would like to feature within your Wall Art. We can support and guide you with our experience but ultimately you know what is most relevant for your school and students.
It is also really helpful to know what is really important to include versus what can be left out if need be – we call these the ‘non-negotiables’. Our designers work best with the freedom to be creative so therefore they need to know what is vital.
We do not need you to supply images, unless you have specific photos that you require us to use. We have access to thousands of high quality images and assets so we will do the image sourcing for you. We most often cannot use what you would find in a search engine search due to copyright and quality of image.
We can use specific high quality images that you supply if you would like us to, as long as you have the copyright to use them.

Wall Art is a finishing product. The better prepared your surfaces are before we arrive, the happier you will be with the finish. Any preparation that is needed is usually discussed at the site survey with the installer. It is often helpful to have one of your site team staff available for the site survey so they are aware of any specific preparation work required. If you are not sure what you need to do, your project manager will be able to advise.
Please ensure that all areas are cleared and cleaned, ready for the artwork to be installed before the installers arrive.
If there are any holes from removing items in the walls or areas that need to be made smooth, please can you make sure that all filling and sanding is done before the installers arrive so that the surfaces are dry for the product to be applied.
If you are painting any areas around the artwork, we would advise that this is done before installation to avoid getting paint on your new Wall Art.
If the walls are not ready for the installation on the day of installation and a return visit is subsequently needed, there may be an extra cost for this.
-
Most schools prepare the areas themselves using their site team’s skill and any regular contractors. However, we can do preparation work if necessary. Just let us know and we will include that in our costs.
-
Make sure the areas are fully prepared before the installers arrive. If the walls are not prepared on the day of installation and a return visit is subsequently needed, there may be an extra cost for this.
Let us know of any restrictions on access, timings or anything else well beforehand so we can plan that into the day.
Please let your project manager know the name and contact number for the person who will be on site on the day of installation in case this is needed.
We kindly request that someone who has been involved in the project is there at the end of the installation to sign it off as per the specification agreed. If you cannot be present on the day, please ensure that the contact who is on site is fully briefed and has the authority to sign off the Wall Art.
-
We do not use illustrations from books and films due to copyright unless the school has been given the rights to use the images. As members of a creative community, using others’ ideas without their permission goes against our beliefs and values.
When we create scenes to represent well-loved texts, we imply the content and themes of those texts through our creations and leave the rest to the students’ imaginations. We fully credit all authors.
-
Yes, for any marks, you can simply clean these using warm soapy water. We can provide guidance on how to care for your Wall Art based on its location and the materials that have been used.
-

-

-
